** The "GI" of World War II

A uniformed presentation of the typical American soldier of the Second World War. An overview about the war will be presented. The uniforms, weapons, equipment and personal artifacts of the soldiers are presented to the students along with the stories behind their use. Students will be encouraged to participate by handling equipment and uniforms. Special emphasis will be placed in the theme of "The Greatest Generation" and the role that their own (great)grandparents might have played during these times.
